The zurecorhiallo bubblehorn split from its ancestor, the ylbershpelle bubblehorn, in the dark caves of Sublyme. Due to the lack of light and food in some parts of the underground galleries, the species reduced its size by the half of the ancestor and lost most of its skin pigmentation. The breathing membranes placed on its back evolved into delicate gills, allowing it to breathe underwater. Spending more time in the water the creature evolved fin-like legs that allow it to swim easily.
The species keeps the same feeding habits of its ancestor, but it is unable to digest any cell having hard cell walls if absorbed by the filtering horns. The vascularized horns communicate with the mouth, being also integrate with the digestive system. The inability to digest some algae and other kind of cells proved to be a great advantage to this creature, once both can be benefited.
The newly evolved genera descendant of luminus showed to be its best symbiotic species. The algae, installed into the psedostomach of the creature, are protected from the outer environment while also freely receive its carbon and mineral sources directly from into the body of the creature, producing lime, oxygen and exudates. The creature will absorb the oxygen and use it to breathe; part of the exudates and dead cells will join to its diet and the lime will be eliminated by the skin. The lime expelled is consumed by some species, like those of the genus Dichomorphamelos, which use to live over its skin. Umbröschlas and other microscopic species living inside prevent that calcite crystals grow into the cells of the creature, making its skin smoother and letting it to live a lot longer.
The tip of the horns can shrink in order to help moving the nutrients to the mouth, letting more microbes to come into and allowing algae to reproduce and generate more nutrients. The shells of the creature degenerated as a result of the inner salt feeder symbiotic species and can be seen into the body, protecting the main organs under a translucent skin.
Living almost entirely in the water, the creature will leave the ponds occasionally and stay on wet and shadowy places. They use to reproduce in the water, laying eggs directly into it. Newly born zurecorhiallo bubblehorns will move to the surface and to the borders, where they can easily find microbes attached to the rocky surfaces.
