The zoister split from its ancestor, the marine krillpede. It has doubled in size and is gray to blend in with the gray sand in Jujubee Polar Sea. They stay close to the bottom to stay camouflaged. They now feed on rotting fauna and flora at the sea bottom. They mainly walk around using their legs but can us their tail fins to swim quickly if needed. Like their ancestors they are blind and must navigate around using the feelers on their heads. On their back are many breathing holes which they use to bring in and out water. Inside are gills which are blue in color due to their copper blood. They will use their claws not only to cling onto rocks but to protect themselves from predators. They asexual reproduce via spores.
