The Yokto Shocker split from its ancestor, the Spotted Shocker. It has moved from Darkov Temperate Coast into Yokto Salt Marsh. There it found small prey to feed on with relatively no competition. It hunts amongst the roots of the Sum-Humgrove. Like its ancestor it uses its 3 pronged mouth to give prey an electric shock. This stuns prey long enough for it to swallow them.
Unlike its ancestor its tail fins have become two separate tails again. This allows it to "hover" in place and wait to ambush prey. Its breathing hole is in between the two tails. It however has retained the Spotted Shocker's ability to communicate via electromagnetic signals. These signals designate things like when they are ready to mate or if there is danger nearby. They retain the mating ritual of their ancestors, but have refined the electric signals sent in it. They have close-knit family structures, often hunting in pairs to "corral" prey.
