The woodchippy replaced its ancestor, the plentplaque in the seas of Sagan 4. It lived in all marine plents from swamers to nailfins. Like their ancestors they eat the decaying food in plents mouths as well as the wood of their teeth or baleen. They have evolved pseudo-pods which have cilia all over them. They use this not only to move around but bring in food particles. When it gets out of control it can cause tooth decay. It is transferred by sexual relations between plents as well as they reproduce through their mouths and therefore is widely spread.
