The tundra orbibom split from its ancestor and moved into the Dixon Tundra where there was virtually no competition for space or resource. The bulb has a handful of large needles sticking out of it to defend against the few herbivores that live in the area. Its leaves are curled up when growing to keep them safe from the damaging cold, they uncurl when done growing and spread across the ground. The bulb has a long twisted growth to release and collect airborne pollen, the bulb after being fertilized will fill with tiny seeds, lose its needles and fall away from the tundra orbibom to release its seeds.
