Ancestor:Descendants:

The trunkskunik replaced its ancestor, the burrowing diveskunik in Darwin Tundra. It has doubled in size and spend most of its life on the surface. While they do still dig burrows to sleep in and make spawnin pools they spend most of their time on the surface grazing on most hydroglobes. However they avoid eating the double-banded toxiglobe. Due to their more agressive relatives the Slipskunik, they will stay away from the Global Glacier.

They have evolved a long trunk for feeding on the hydroglobes that grow on the ground and strong hoofs for running. They grow fatty lumps on their backs to help keep warm. They will travel in small herds which stay within a few kilometers of their home burrow. Theyr burrows are very primitive and are not too far or deep.
