The tilehorn split from its ancestor, the tileback. The tilehorn gets its name because of the large horn on its snout; this horn is primarily used for displaying and jabbing into nearby predators. In order to adapt to its environment, the tilehorn has evolved webbed feet that help it swim in the Raq Temperate Bay's waters. It has also evolved by changing its colors to rusty-red, which allows it to blend in with the sands of the West Raq Temperate Beach. Using its flexible lips, the tilehorn primarily feeds on double bubblgea and greater droppgea, but it will also consume the various glaalgaes that grow on the beaches along with the occasional symbioraft diaminet roots. However, in order to eat the toxic roots, it has gained an immunity to the paralyzing poison. Other than these changes, it is quite similar to its ancestors.
