The thorny twinkiiro split from its ancestor the twinkiiro. It has doubled in size and now has protective thorns all of it. They protect it from herbivores like the seascooter. They are completely immobile and reproduce by asexually budding. They photosynthesize by absorbing purple light with their own yellow photosynthesizing pigments. Their thorns are made of calcium that they absorb from the soil.
