Descendant of | Ancestor of |
The thornskunik replaced its ancestor the grazing diveskunik. It has doubled in size and has become fatter. Its fatty lumps have turned into hard fatty thorns. This helps protect it from predators. Its leg armor has more segments to help it walk better while keeping the protection and support. Its mouth faces directly under it head and it stands over food when eating. Like it ancestor it eats a variety of glassflora species. They still spawn in cryobowl species, but while a male will spawn into any cryobowl, the females now check for genetic material before spawning, and will then guard the cryobowl until the young thornskuniks are old enough to live on their own.
