The Thistle Puffgrass split from their ancestor. It has adapted to more wooded environments. As the name suggests, they have developed sharp prickly leaves that help protect them from harm. Like their ancestor, their puffy spores are transported by the wind. These float in the wind and matching spores fuse together, forming airborne zygotes. Once fertilize and on the surface it will start to germinate.
