The thermoten is the split descendant of the thurmyceto. The species has gained tentacles with a primitive nervousness system in order to hunt its prey, thrymentis. But their pray is equipped with armor, making it almost impossible to get to. For this reason it had to gain a proboscis in order to grab at the innards of the animal through the tiny gaps. The species still live in the springs of the volcanic area. Their slime coating has also became much smoother becoming more like skin.
