After millions of years, the amphibarian gradually adapted to living predominantly on land. The terrarian now rarely leave the shore, going into deeper water only to mate and give birth. Their gill-pouch has melded onto their snout, keeping their gills constantly wet, and they now can leave the water for much longer periods of time. They remain an ambush predator, but they now have dramatically changed in coloration to better camouflage themselves on the black-and-white beaches of West Wind Polar Beach. Their tactics have also changed: the terrarian dig a shallow pit near the water's edge with their powerful flippers, then lay down in it and lie in wait. When they sense a prey fauna approaching with their sensory tentacles, they spring out of hiding and crush it in their powerful jaws.
