The teproutine mebos split from its ancestor, the teproutine, and moved to Barlowe Tundra. It specializes to feed on copper and iron. It feeds on copper and iron while under the ground, but when it's in the snow, the teproutine mebos searches for organic particles. It has developed arm-like structure, with which it searches for organic particles. It uses these arms only when it's on the snow, when it goes underground it hides the arms, so they can't get damaged by the soil. A big change is, that now it uses mitosis to reproduce.
