The tentacled urphish split from the urphish. Urphish which had longer, more prehensile tentacles found themselves able to prey upon bigger prey that wandered in from the ocean, like beakworms and silverlings. Evolution drove these attributes until the tentacled urphish arose. Their clawed tentacles are used to grasp prey while they inject acid into the bloodstream. Able to prey upon bigger prey, the tentacled urphish migrated into the Jujubee open ocean.
