The strainbean is the next generation of the shovelhead. It has grown to an enormous size (whale sized) and filter feeds. The top of its body is one big sun collector to gain extra energy. Like its ancestor, it can produce mild electric shocks for defense. Their mouth has developed baleen-like fibers that collect plankton from the water. They usually skim across the tops of the water all day, absorbing the sun's rays and eating.
