The stowaway harmbless split from its ancestor and has specialized in small flora and the berries of the fuzzpalm tree. In order to facilitate this diet they have evolved a many lobbed flexible lip. Using their large chest to hold their head above the ground they are able to use their lip to grasp and manipulate food without having to work their jaws around it.

Unlike their relatives they have small primitive check pouches. Because of their diet they occasionally infiltrate tamjack ships under construction or in for repairs and can survive by feeding on the stored food. This causes the tamjacks to return to shore sooner than they otherwise would. Populations have managed to establish themselves on the coasts of Dixon, taken there by the currents and thriving in the relatively safe environment away from their major predators.
