All star flora have melanophyte chloroplasts due to their hybrid ancestry.

Evolution

Star flora are the result of a symbiogenesis event between saganchaos and hexbalgae. The resulting organism, balgaechaos integrated the hexbalgae as organelles as well as their genomes.

Locomotion

Swish Starflora is a mobile Star Flora.

Basal star flora were passible floaters, however active movement began to evolve in the Swish Starflora.

Reproduction

The Creeping Starflora demonstrating the spore release.

The basal Starflora reproduce asexually with isogamous gametes, which transitioned into sexual reproduction with anisogamous gametes in the Swish Starflora and its descendants.
