The only difference between the Squarenet Crastrum and its ancestor is that they now have 2 different type of parts. Between the "sausage" parts there are "joint" parts that consists of the white size morphing cells. This makes the Squarenet Crastrum able to grow very big colonies, which makes gives them a bigger chance to survive since they share the energy they get. The colonies can now grow bigger than 60 cm in diameter. Other then this they work exactly like their ancestor.
