Sprinters are a line of plents that tend to have a bipedal form and a wooden beak.

Most sprinters breath using their single airhole, but one evolutionary line, the Hophorn and its descendants have evolved multiple airholes. Their blood is green and sap-like, due to the chlorophyll within it.

Sprinters range in size from 22.5 cm long (Sly Snoa) to 5 m long (Baron Sprintzilla).
