Ancestor:Descendants:

The spotted uktank is a hybrid of the ovi uktank and saltlake uktank. It replaced both ancestors. It has doubled in size and spends much of its time in the water to support its weight. When it dose leave the water its to find new pools or to escape predators. Like their ancestors their shell can hold water in which it uses to breathe on land. It however will eventually run out of oxygen and they will have to refill their shell tanks with fresh water.

Their front grasping leg has developed into a claw-beak which scoops up floating violetglobes and their relatives. They stay near the shallows where they clump up. They will also supplement their diet with rotting flora. Due to this nutritious diet they must continually eat to sustain their size. Luckily they are cold-blooded so they do not use up as much energy as they would if they were warm-blooded. However this means they are also slow, sluggish and must sun themselves often. When the fresh water freezes over the river they will migrate to Ovi Salt Lake or Ovi Salt Marsh where the saltwater prevents it from freezing over.
