Ancestor:Descendants:

Splitting off from its ancestor, the sporetower lithoamoeba has replaced it within the Rabid Sandstone Caves. Like its ancestor, it breaks down inorganic substances for energy, it does so by excreting chemicals and enzymes to split off pieces of rock, which it then engulfs and digests internally. Its main evolution is the formation of spore towers, when they are in sufficient numbers and concentration, sporetower lithoamoeba will gather together and form "towers" of themselves, which are topped by a ball of brightly colored spores. These spores then stick to a passing creature or are eaten, either passing through the digestive system or falling off said creature to reach a new location. Once the spore ball has been formed, the cells that made up the tower die.
