Ancestor:Descendants:

The spectre plentutri split from the white-backed plent. It has moved from the alpines to the rocky region. It is now lives a nocturnal lifestyle and will pick and eat only boogieshrooms. Since most other species are asleep at this time it can come down to the ground without much threat. Since it is nocturnal it has no need to photosynthesize and is completely white. This helps camouflage it during the winter months.

Its tiny feet have grown talons so it can grip onto the branches. Its beak has bright orange stripes to attract mates and its wings and tail membranes are tattered due to males fighting. With their sharp beaks they will nip at each other in mid air and rip the wings on their opponents. Those who lose are usually eaten by predators by daybreak. Its eyes have also adapted to see in the dark and will take in a lot of light so it can see where it is going at night. Battles for mates usually happen on the full moon so they can see each other better during the fights. These shows look like ghosts flying around a graveyard.
