The sly snoa split from its ancestor. Unlike its ancestor, the sly snoa has shrunken down in size, has become nocturnal to avoid predators, and has also spread out into the desert. The sly snoa has also become rusty-red in color, which allows it to blend in with the sand and soil of the tundra and desert. The sly snoa's beak has evolved to impale warmtsudos and drink their blood. In order to do this without them being harmed by the warmtsudo, the sly snoa partially buries itself in the snow and waits for the warmtsudo to fall asleep, then it jabs its beak into the warmtsudo and drinks its blood. Normally, this would awaken the warmtsudo, but the sly snoa has evolved a numbing saliva that makes the jab feel more like a mere sting. Other than blood, the sly snoa also eats carrion and steals xatakpa eggs.
