The slowzilla replaced its ancestor, sprintzilla. Due to the introduction of desert chitinbane which wiped out the memorial fortresscrab it was left with only the superstickyballs to eat. Thus it became a herbivore and specialized in eating only superstickyballs. It shrank to half its ancestors size and has become much more docile. They are slow and eat all the time. Like their ancestors their saliva can break down the sticky chemicals of superstickyballs so it can eat and digest them. Its front claws have grown larger so it can scrape off superstickyballs from flora, rocks and even fauna.

For the most part, predators leave them alone because they will pick off superstickyballs from them. But if a predator tries to mess with them they can use their claws and beak to defend themselves. Their "leaves" have improved a bit and absorb more sunlight. They have also thick blubber to protect them from predators as well as keep them warm in the higher altitudes. Their butt-nostrils are surrounded by tiny spines to prevent predators from suffocating them by closing up their butt-nostrils.

Since they never do anything quickly males will simply try to mate with females. If the female can get away then the male has failed, if not he gets to mate. They give birth to only around 1 or 2 babies. To feed them they will regurgitate superstickyballs to their offspring. The offspring are very helpless and typically look like like fat little balls. They are pink-ish purple in color to blend in with the stickballs. Females mate in the spring and give birth in the summer. Babies grow extremely quickly and are around full sized by winter. Those that don't grow big enough by winter die. They live in groups of 10 to 20.
