Ancestor:Descendants:

The shellear split from its ancestor, the saltlake uktank. It moved to the western beaches of Barlowe and Dixon where it ate different stickyball relatives, mainly the fuzzshrub. It front arms and long tubular mouth have formed into a pseudo-jaw. The top limb form the top jaw with a downward curving beak, while the tubular mouth forms the bottom jaw with a beak facing upwards. Between the 2 of them they can bite or pick up flora to eat.

Its front "hearing plate" have formed into 2 shell-like ears. The shell structure funnels the sound to its primitive ear. Thus it now has stereo hearing, rather than mono like its ancestor. Like its ancestors it will store up water in its hollow shell. The shell quickly fill up with water in holes and then are sealed off once they come to land. Their strong legs help carry the weight of the water. They do this in order to have water to breathe. However they cannot stay outside the water for very long and must go back to the water frequently to fill up again.

They mate underwater and usually stay in shallow water. After they mate they will lay their eggs directly into the water.
