The seaplent is a descendant of the flying plent. With its long mouth, it fishes beakworms out of the water. The mouth has little teeth, which are just protuberances of the side of the mouth. These teeth allow the seaplent to hold the beakworms in its mouth while flying. It always swallows the beakworms with the tail first, to avoid the beak being stuck in the esophagus. The front legs developed into little stumps which it uses to crawl around the rocks at the coast, where it rests. The back legs merged with the underpart of the airhole into a tail, which it flaps to get faster or to maneuver through the air.
