The pinebu that grew farther away from the cold Ittiz-Nuke Alpines had a lot of spare energy that no longer was needed to evolve protection against the harsh winter, this energy was used to evolve much bigger, and after a mutation that was favored by evolution the pinebu split into branches that after many years evolved to be corkscrewed to get as much sunshine as possible. These new screwebu replaced the pinebu totally in those areas, and spread down into the Nuke temperate forest. The screwebu's are not very common and they cant grow to close to other plants since the great shadow of the tree can be deadly to small plants, as well as smaller screwebu. So the screwebu are most often found alone, be it on plains or in glades. The scewebu vary a lot in size, but if they live in good condition a full grown screwebu can reach over 20 meters.
