The scraggly swaberry split from its ancestor and now litters the river bank of the Ittiz River. They are tough fibrous flora with few water filled leaves. Since the leaves are filled with water they are vulnerable to freezing and ripping open they are rarely filled all the way and the flesh of the leaves are often wrinkled and stretchy. Their chance of surviving to maturity in the Barlowe Tundra is low and so they produce very large amounts of berries.
