The salty waterfall is located on BioCat River. In the river's past it use to be in the middle of a hot desert where the water would dry up before reaching the sea. In doing so it would leave salt deposits along its dried up banks. Since then the river has grown and the climate has changed. It is now in the middle of a tropical rainoforest. However the hardened salt deposits are still there. Due the constant rain, much of it has been washed into the river and out to sea. The salty waterfall is a spot where there was a lot of the salt built up. This quick erosion of the salt has created a waterfall.
