The sailsar split from its ancestor and acquired a more mobile shape, reducing the number of psedopods around the center, but making them totally encircled by small cilia. Sailsars are usually found having five tips in a star shape with two small bumps protruding from the center. It keeps most of the features of its ancestor, using the iron-rich soil to strengthen its cell wall, remaining close to the water surface in the river bed. Sailsars having different star shapes can be found in places where the temperature is warm and light is abundant, mostly close to south bog, since they will try increase their numbers in exchange of a smaller size, thus developing less pseudopods and reducing mobility.
