The rosy polyfoi split from its ancestor, the polyfoi in order to follow an evolutionary split of its host. It has shrunken further yet still follows the same life style as its ancestor. Its coloration helps it to blend in with the skin of the rosy scylarian, making it at most resembling a slight bump on its flesh. They produce spores via their spore siphon, and do this on a regular schedule once they reach maturity.
