Anatomy
Basal rorms have a hydrostatic skeleton and a simple nervous system. Some derived species, the armororms, have a keratinous exoskeleton. Their skin contains beta keratin, evolved from the beta keratin that held the cillioligament cells together. Likewise, their extracellular matrix is also keratinous.
Behavior
Breathing and Blood
Rorms mainly breathe by diffusing oxygen into their skin. They do not have blood.
Diet & Energy
Most are filter feeders, sifting microbes out of the water.
Evolution
Locomotion
They move in an snake like motion, undulating up and down.
Reproduction
They reproduce by having tiny versions of themselves grow in their heads, eventually budding off. Others, like the burrarom, reproduce via spores.
Senses
Some more derived species, such as the oceanrorm, can sense taste their surroundings, but all have a very basic sense of touch.
Size
They are all rather small, with all ranging under 10 centimeters.
Types of Rorms
Proposcus Rorms- All Rorms descending from the Kerrarom
Plated Rorms- All Rorms descending from the Armororm
