The river tuffdra split from its ancestor the tundra grass. Its ancestor already thrived in the South Tundra it was only a small step for it to adapt to life in the equally cold fresh water of the Hydro River and Hydro Bog. Like its ancestor it has a ‘bulb' that acts as it's center and has a type of anti-freeze to stop it from freezing. When the river and bog freezes in the winter it will loose its leaves and hibernate until the river flows again. Since it is submerged it cannot spread its seeds and pollen via the air so it has become asexual and spread its seed underwater. its buds can also split off from its bulb and grow a new tuff.
