The river bubblepede split from the bubblepede. It has evolved to survive in a fresh-water environment. Like its ocean ancestor it eats bubbleweed, except rather than the ocean type it eats the fresh water kind. Its body mimics the leaves of the river bubbleweed all the way down to the bubble seeds. However their bubble is filed with fluid, not hydrogen, like the real bubble seed.
