The rikaia replaced its ancestor, the gillrom in the the coasts of Barlowe. It has become more complex than its ancestor, it has evolved nervous system. It has increased in size and developed eight simple eyes due to the complexity of its nervous system. Its feelers have become longer, facilitating the absorption of food and movement. The color of its body has gone from purple to blue because it has forsaken the pioneeroots genus, but keeps putting thousands of eggs.
Notes: Incidentally the name "Rikaia" comes from the name of Pikaia, a prehistoric Cambrian chordate!
