Ancestor:Descendants:

The rasp-mouthed suckiron replaced its ancestor, the suckiron. Its mouth has developed a rasping mouth with many small teeth. It uses this mouth to suck on the sides of its host or slowly consume carrion. It has complexity lost its vestigial limbs and wriggle around in the water. Its 6 nostrils have developed into "smelling gills" which both help it breathe and smell at the same time. They also help when sucking on food.

They have no eyes, nor can they hear so they must find food through smell and touch. Their reproduction has advanced from fragmentation to asexual budding. Tiny buds will grow off the side of its body like little tentacles. Once they have grown big enough they will detach from their parent and swim off on their own to find food.
