Pyamus in general absorb the bits of debris and dead material that fall to the ocean floor, but some have become chemivores, metabolizing methane or sulfur.
Evolution
The shape of the pyamus is to survive the pressure at the bottom of the ocean.
Locomotion
Pyamus are immobile.
Reproduction
Pyamus, for the most part, reproduce asexually with spores. One species was able to do it sexually, the seep pyamus.

Size
Pyamus range in size from usually under a meter uo to, in one case, 30 meters tall.
