Ancestor:Descendants:

The purple hornwarts are the next generation of testudohexapodia acta. It has evolved into a primitive land plant similar to Earth's hornwarts. They are about 5 cm tall and have a central hard stem with a photosynthetic layer around the stem. These stalks group out from a simple tuber root that grows smaller roots off that. It reproduces by simple spores that break off of the top of the mature cell and are so small that they float in the wind. It can also reproduce by budding off the roots. If roots get separated and still have a stem, they can survive on their own as 2 separate plants.
