Ancestor:Descendants:

The pump gilltail split from its ancestor, they're smaller and less active then their ancestor. To overcome being ram-gilled and fairly inactive they have a pouch on both sides that fills with water and empties to assist when not moving. If forced to they are able to move rapidly and turn instantly, during this they will stay under the droopgea using it as a barrier.
