The puffkin shrub split from the puffkin. It now has adapted to the sands of the beach. Its leaves have gotten larger to collect more sunlight. It also has a trunk to reach higher. Its signature puffkin gourd now stands straight up on the top; it has many seeds inside which have hard shells with a bitter layer. When the creatures eat the tasty fruit it will ingest the seeds. The seeds will secrete the bitter chemicals sometime later and give them indigestion, thus having them vomit out some of the seeds in a new spot. Despite this action creatures cannot resist the addictively sweet taste of the puffkin.
