The Prutabula is descended from a split of the Baebula who have moved inland to Maineiac High Grassland. To avoid the fragility of its ancestor, the base and branches of the Prutabula have thickened. As well as this, it has started growing large fruits which give off a sweet and pungent odor. This attracts various fauna who, after eating the fruits, are therefore able to spread the seeds of the flora across the island through their excrement.
