The protoradia duocytis is a dual-cell organism. Its cellular structure has not changed at all, only the number of cells. It mainly feeds on octherma. Benefits from a dual-cell structure include efficient grasping and holding the victim and increased speed. Each cell has two flagella. When prey is caught, the two proboscises penetrate the cell wall and suck the life out. Despite being more advanced than protomancerxia thermaparasitica, protoradia failed to replace it.
