The prismgrass stinger replaced the stumpworm sucker in the Yokto Beach region. It has evolved green pigment to camouflage itself among the crystal prismgrass that grows abundantly in the area. It also mimics the crystal prismgrass in its behavior, making its tail nearly vertical and standing a sharp angles, waiting patiently until unwitting prey stumbles by. It is a cannibalistic species, since it often strikes based on movement, not on what it sees. The effectiveness of its hunting behavior has made it grow significantly larger.
