The polar crystalplaque split from the beach crystalplaque. They will eat the cellulase stuck to the spores and in the dirt near the mycelium. They have spread both through the dirt and sticking to spores. Though they are found in every polar cellulosebane, they do not hurt the flora except for the small amount of chitin they eat to build up their cell walls, which is negligible. Because of the polar crystalplaque, the air, ground, and water in the polar regions of Drake are free of cellulase.
