The poisonglobe krugg split from its ancestor, the poison krugg, and moved to Darwin Temperate Rainforest. It retained its high tolerance to poison but changed its diet to the sole poisonous flora in Darwin Temperate Rainforest, the pioneer poisonglobe. It has changed its colors accordingly to reflect those of the poisonglobe and remind predators that it holds its venom. Its has gained additional spines, and can now redirect poison to its spines to more easily poison potential predators. Unlike its ancestor, its coloration and spines develop at birth rather than emerging in adolescence.
