The poison windbulb replaces its ancestor the windbulb in the southern grasslands and scrub lands of Wright. Since many herbivores and omnivores overfed on them they had to evolve a defense from the over grazing. They developed a poisonous toxin in their leaves. Once consumed it will make the consumer very sick and vomit up all their food. The tips of their leaves are yellow to warn not to eat it. They also have developed taller seed stalks to their airborne seeds travel farther. They no longer need to loose all their leaves in the summer because of this.
