The plurgile split from its ancestors in the Ittiz-Ovi desert to move into the Clayren Beach area. No longer needing to worry about the absence of water (in fact it now has a buffet of water) the plurgiles needles have turned into leaves, which can gather a lot more sunlight. Not all parts of the beach can provide good hold for a plurgiles roots, so the plant no longer grows as high as its ancestors once did.
