The plentsprinter split off from the plentutri, in search of new land. They have descended to Ovi Island, Ovi-Hydro Plains and Hydro Savanna. In order to adapt to its new homes, it had to develop a stronger immune system, so that the plent plague of Ovi Island doesn't infect them as badly as it could before. The plentsprinter has developed longer back legs with toes, while the front legs have completely vanished. Even though the wings are slightly smaller than its ancestor, it can still fly.
Unlike its ancestor, the plentsprinter has developed a tiny crest. The male's crest is a bright red while the female's crest is a dull orange color.
