The plantentacle split from its ancestor the droopgea. It now lives in Blood Lava Tube Sea Caves. It grows in crevasses at the mouth of the cave where there is sunlight. Its branching tentacles have become more mobile and can curl up at night and uncurl during the day. It also has developed a more advance reproduction method, asexual budding. The child flora typically bud off the tentacles but sometimes bud off the trunk. They tend to be darker gray since the waters are cooler and it can blend in with the dark volcanic lava tubes.
