The pioneeroots are a group of organisms constituting the order Spherobryales. Composed of many hundreds of species, including the pioneer minicone, pioneer volcanoglobe, pioneer brineglobe, pioneer sandcup, pioneer macaronigrass, pioneer mudbeaker, beachglobe, pioneer muddish, pioneer mudvase, pioneer stackcup, pioneer sandglobe, pioneer chainglobe, sturdy spikeglobe, dubsoah, and zonriy. They are a very diverse order who range in different shapes and sizes.
While most have their own unique shape ranging from cup shapes, cones, tubes and spheres, they all are purple in color. Unlike the marbleflora they have a primitive vascular system and roots. Their roots are symbiotic with the nitrocycle microbes and help turn barren biomes into places where more complex flora can grow. Like most purple flora, they photosynthesize with their purple chloroplasts and convert yellow sunlight.
They can grow both on land and in the water, however unlike the marbleflora they are limited to actual soil to grow in. They can also live in both hot and cold environments of varying humidity. They are always found in large colonies and grow only by asexual budding. While not as aggressive as marbleflora in its growth, they can start to grow in barren biomes before marbleflora can spread there. Very few pioneeroots are toxic. Overall they are one of the most important groups in an ecosystem due to the fact they help convert barren biomes into habitable ones.
